One of UKSS’ greatest strengths is that we are completely independent, do not own bulls and do not compete on the retail domestic scene. Because of this, you will be interested to learn that we are now working with over 20 retail companies that are marketing semen produced from your bulls by us here in the UK! We are often approached by these retailers, especially when they are looking for commercial beef semen or alternative breed dairy semen. It is at this point that I will contact you, as owners of the bulls, to ask you to quote for a particular deal. This is very much a part of our role as a Service Provider and helps you to add value to your bull in sales and, just like milking a cow, you still have the “cow” after the milk tanker has gone down the lane! This is another part of our business that is growing very quickly as the retail trade know that your bulls are exactly what they are looking for.
