is a fully independent bull stud set up
to collect, store and distribute semen. We work with top cattle breeders,
AI companies, buyers groups and cooperatives and Breed Societies collecting
semen from the very best of British dairy and beef genetics.
Our primary
functions are to collect semen from dairy and beef bulls on behalf of
owners throughout Britain. The semen can be collected on stud to

The
Directors at UK Sire Services are rightly proud of their team at the stud,
being the very best in the industry. They are headed up by Andrew Champion
as Manager who is also Head of Laboratory. Andrew was with Somerset Cattle
Breeding Centre for many years.

Kids back at school! Autumn around the corner? It’s back to business! September is always a busy month and it now starts with the European Dairy and Livestock Event at the NEC in Birmingham. http://www.dairyevent.co.uk/ We have a stand at the show and we will be delighted to see you there.
For those of you heading out to the “Dairy Mecca”, i.e. the World Dairy Expo in Madison, once again we will have a stand in our prime spot on the landing leading to the Overseas Lounge area. We have found that “Expo” is an incredible meeting place for friends and clients from all over the world. Please be sure to tell us if you are going to Madison this year and we will look out for you and arrange to meet.
Thanks to all of our visitors throughout the year, including the South West British Blue Club and overseas visitors from Guyana, Brazil, USA, Canada, France, Holland, Germany, Portugal, Australia and Argentina. We take great care with our bio-security measures but like to welcome friends from here and abroad whenever we can.
Expansion is in the air and we are hastily getting 8 new bull pens built at the Venton stud at the time of writing, and they will be full by early October.
The unit at Kelso had a manic spring season and is busy again now. More and more breeders are seeing the collection of semen as a good investment as well as an insurance policy on their top bulls.
If we miss you at the Dairy Event I hope that we can catch up at the South West Dairy Event next month.

of trading we have already processed semen from over 350 bulls representing
an incredible 30 different breeds. Semen has been exported around the world.
